Light is the key element to any photograph. This class will teach all levels of photographers to see light in a whole new way. By understanding the science behind the lighting, you will learn to shape and create more dynamic photographs. You will learn to:

• Understand the terminology of lighting
• Understand necessary considerations for natural light

• Getting the right exposure
• The different types of light you’ll encounter
• The direction and movement of light
• Study the direction, length and depth of shadows
• Essential light modifiers for taking control of your lighting.
•  Use of gels to colorize your image.

We will show you a range of one, two and three light setups that are great for creating beautiful light. You’ll learn tips for portrait lighting, beauty lighting, and dramatic light. High Key and Low Key.
Shaping with Light is great for intermediate to advanced photographer who is looking to add spice to his studio lighting. Physical Level 1.
